Kathi Irving has been proudly selected by the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival as 2014 Volunteer of the Year.
Kathi is now serving the festival for her fifth busy year providing leadership and dedication to many aspects of festival planning, coordination, and implementation.
“She has been an invaluable asset with her “behind the scenes” work supervising Festival Mascots, recruiting, scheduling and registering hundreds of volunteers. We are thrilled to have her become such a sustaining part of our festival work force”, exclaimed the entire Festival Team.
Kathi is one of those consummate volunteers that serves in other volunteer capacities throughout Central Washington as Homeowner mentor for Habitat for Humanity in the Wenatchee area, Public affairs director for the local LDS church, teaching adult English as a second language, and most recently volunteering to sort and pack donations for fire survivors in the Pateros, Brewster and Methow Valley areas. She and husband, Dave Irving, reside in Wenatchee.
Thank you for your time and all you do for us, Kathi!
