On the Hatchery Grounds

  • Check at activity sites for scheduled times
    • Storytelling by Gloria Roberson and Tracy Faulkner in the Giant Salmon Tent
    • Outdoor Recreation exhibits and demonstrations
    • 'Families in the Creek' activity– Sign up at the table across from the Native American Encampment
    • Watch Chalk Art being created by local artists on the sidewalk in front of Main Hatchery Buiding
    • Walk for Health– Sign up at the NCW Rural Health exhibit for a guided walk on our Icicle Creek nature trail
    • Animal Costume Parade

Native American Encampment

  • Ongoing (check at activity site for scheduled times)
    • Drumming, dancing, singing, and exhibits
  • 11:30am
    • Unungax Native Dancers and Drummers- High energy Aleut Native Dance troupe from Bellingham will perform traditional dances and drum beats

Main Stage

  • 12:00 noon
    • Sardis Raptor Center- 'Hunters of the Sky' live raptor presentation
  • 1:15pm
    • 'Off the Grid'- Popular local band playing "world rock" music
  • 2:30pm
    • Reptile Man- Live reptile presentation with Scott Petersen
