We appreciate you!

Salmon Fest focuses on natural resource education and outdoor recreation, and shares the cultural significance of the salmon to people of the Northwest.  Without the help of our volunteers, this event and the countless memorable and inspiring experiences of children across Washington wouldn’t be possible!

You give your blood, sweat, and tears, your time, energy, skills, and so much more, and you do it out of the goodness of your heart.  “Thank you” doesn’t even begin to describe our gratitude and appreciation. Know that you are changing lives and inspiring children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to become informed and proactive stewards for this planet.  Your generosity is unmatched.

One of the festival’s strongest assets is its Volunteer Program. Salmon Festival Volunteers bring a wide variety of skills and energy levels to this special event. Over 300 people donate thousands of hours annually to prepare, plan, and implement all aspects of festival operations. The festival simply could not happen without the help from so many.

The Wenatchee River Salmon Festival Team welcomes all who are interested in contributing time, energy, and enthusiasm. Numerous opportunities are available for our volunteers to choose an activity that fits for them. We guarantee you’ll enjoy the chance to interact with festival visitors and other staff, and feel good about contributing to the Festival Mission.

Complete the Volunteer Sign-Up Form and we’ll be in touch soon.  Thanks for your interest!
